Key Responsibilities
Remote working possibilities are also encouraged.
Design plastic injection moulds using SolidWorks and prepare detailed manufacturing drawings in AutoCAD.
Develop complete mould assemblies, part drawings, and component details.
Analyze customer product drawings and evaluate mould feasibility.
Design core, cavity, sliders, lifters, inserts, cooling circuits, ejector systems, and runner/gate systems.
Prepare mould assembly drawings, BOM (Bill of Materials), and manufacturing documentation.
Modify existing mould designs based on engineering changes and customer requirements.
Maintain proper revision history and engineering documentation.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Engineering, or a related field.(Candidates from GTTC and NTTF with min 2 years experience preffered)
Certification in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is an added advantage.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in SolidWorks
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
Good understanding of plastic injection mold design principles.
Familiarity with DFM (Design for Manufacturing), mould flow concepts, and tooling standards.
Ability to prepare BOMs and engineering documentation.
Understanding of machining processes including CNC Milling, CNC Turning, Wire EDM, Surface Grinding, and Assembly.
