ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities & Legal Expertise

• Proficient in managing revenue records for both agricultural and converted lands, ensuring strict compliance with legal and regulatory norms.

• Fluent in Kannada (written and verbal) for seamless communication with clients, government bodies, and internal teams.

• Skilled in drafting and reviewing a wide range of legal documents, including:

  • Sale Deeds

  • General Power of Attorney (GPA)

  • Special Power of Attorney (SPA)

  • Sale Agreements

  • Partition Deeds

  • Release Deeds

  • Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

• Expertise in examining the flow of title and verifying ownership history to ensure clear and marketable title.

• Strong working knowledge of key property laws, especially:

  • Karnataka Land Reforms Act

  • Land Revenue Act

  • SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act (as applicable to land transactions)

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis related to land, property, and regulatory matters.

• Provide sound legal advice and strategic guidance on land disputes, transactions, and compliance.

• Draft legal opinions, memos, and briefing notes for internal and external stakeholders.

• Support dispute resolution processes, including legal strategy formulation and settlement negotiations.

• Ensure implementation and monitoring of all contractual and legal clauses relevant to operations.

• Collaborate cross-functionally and also perform well independently when required.
