Job Description

Perform venipuncture and other blood collection procedures safely and accurately.
Verify patient identity and label specimens correctly to ensure sample integrity.
Prepare, handle, and store blood samples according to laboratory standards.
Explain procedures to patients and address concerns to ensure a comfortable experience.
Maintain strict hygiene, infection control, and safety protocols.
Clean and maintain phlebotomy equipment and supplies.
Record patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) and laboratory systems.
Assist with specimen processing and related administrative tasks.
Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and quality standards.
Coordinate effectively with physicians, nurses, and laboratory personnel.
