Job Description

Retail Pharmacist Job role

· Dispense prescription medicines accurately as per doctor's prescription.

· Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and patient safety.

· Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and controlled drugs as per regulatory requirements.

· Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability.

· Check and remove expired, damaged, or recalled medicines from the shelves.

· Coordinate with suppliers for medicine procurement and stock replenishment.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.

· Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy regulations and company policies.

· Handle billing, cash transactions, and maintain daily sales records.

· Resolve customer queries and provide professional healthcare guidance.

· Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical pharmacy practices.

· Assist in achieving store sales and customer service targets.

· Support periodic stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
