Gardener

We are looking for a Gardener to join our team Benchmark Developers to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas. The Gardener will be responsible for maintaining and beautifying lawns, gardens, plants, and outdoor landscapes. The role includes planting, pruning, watering, landscaping, and ensuring that the premises remain clean, green, and well-maintained. The position offers an in-hand salary of Rs. 12,000/-.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plant, water, prune, and trim trees, shrubs, flowers, and hedges.

2. Maintain indoor and outdoor plants as required.

3. Remove weeds, pests, and diseased plants.

4. Mow, edge, aerate, and fertilize lawns.

5. Maintain walkways, pathways, and landscaped areas.

6. Replace damaged or dead plants promptly.

7. Prepare soil for planting and seasonal changes.

8. Apply manure, compost, and fertilizers as needed.

9. Maintain proper drainage and soil health.

10. Identify and purchase local trees and plants as approved.

11. Use and maintain gardening tools such as shears, mowers, trimmers, hoses, and sprinklers.

12. Ensure tools are stored safely and kept in working condition.

13. Collect and dispose of garden waste, dry leaves, and debris.

14. Keep garden areas clean and tidy at all times.

15. Operate manual or automatic irrigation systems.

16. Ensure regular watering without wastage.

17. Assist in landscaping design or seasonal plant displays.

18. Prepare gardens for festivals, events, or monsoon/summer/winter changes.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in gardening.

• Knowledge of plants, soil types, fertilizers, and pest control.

• Ability to operate basic garden tools and equipment.

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.

• Attention to detail, punctuality, and discipline.

• It is a Full Time Housekeeping job for candidates with 5 - 6 years of experience.
