Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate customs clearance procedures for import and export shipments as per applicable laws and regulations.
2. Prepare and submit all required customs documentation (Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, Invoice, Packing List, etc.) in a timely manner.
3. Liaise with customs officers, CHAs (Custom House Agents), and other government authorities to ensure smooth and timely clearance.
4. Monitor shipment status, resolve clearance delays, and ensure delivery timelines are met.
5. Coordinate with logistics partners, freight forwarders, and transport agencies for movement of goods from port to warehouse or client location.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipping and clearance activities.
7. Ensure compliance with DGFT, EXIM policies, and other relevant trade regulations.
8. Handle duty calculations, tariff codes (HSN/HS Codes), and ensure correct classification of goods.
9. Assist in audits and inspections related to customs and import / export processes.
10. Continuously monitor regulatory changes and update internal processes accordingly.
11. As soon as we receive the enquiries for Ocean / Air freight and customs clearance we shall send the enquiry to the respective CHA.
12. Have Knowledge on EPCG License Registration & Document Preparation for Registration.
13. Bond & Bank Guarantee Document Preparation.
Skills:
1. Strength in Matrix
2. Proficient with MS Office (Excel & Word)
3. Linguistic Fluency English, Hindi & Local Language (Optional)
4. Logical Thinking
5. Prior experience dealing with ICEGATE, DGFT, CHAs, and import/export documentation is highly desirable
Educational Qualification:
1. B. Com in Any Specialization.
2. Supply Chain Management or Related Field.
3. A Diploma or Certification in International Trade.
