Job Title: Logistics Supervisor – Garment Industry

We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations for our garment manufacturing unit. This role involves managing storage, packing, inventory, and distribution of finished garments and raw materials. You will play an important part in ensuring smooth flow of goods in the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee packing and dispatch of finished garments with proper size, color, and style accuracy.

• Maintain accurate stock records for raw materials (fabric, trims, accessories) and finished products.

• Ensure proper storage of garments using correct folding, rack placement, and labeling standards.

• Conduct quality checks on garments before dispatch to avoid defects reaching customers.

• Train warehouse workers on safe handling of garments, cartons, and materials, including any hazardous chemicals used in packaging.

• Monitor and update daily inventory, ensuring no stock mismatch between physical stock and system records.

• Coordinate with the production, QC, and merchandising teams for timely inward/outward movement of goods.

• Ensure FIFO method (First In, First Out) for garment and trim storage.

• Prepare dispatch documentation like packing lists, shipment details, and delivery challans.

• Supervise loading & unloading activities to prevent damage to garments.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: Graduate

• Experience: 3 – 6+ years in garment/ apparel industry logistics or warehouse operations

• Strong knowledge of garment handling, storage, packing, and dispatch.

• Good organizing and time management skills.

• Attention to detail to ensure correct size, color, and SKU dispatch.

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, inventory software) is a plus.

• Ability to manage warehouse workers and meet dispatch deadlines.
