Job Title: Import Executive / Import CoordinatorLocation:Raj Paper Converter 1103,Ruby Crescent Business Boulevard, Ashok Nagar,Kandivali east,Mumbai-400101Job Purpose:To manage and coordinate import activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods while complying with all regulatory and legal requirements.Key Responsibilities:Import Documentation:Handle end-to-end import documentation (Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Insurance, etc.).Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and CHA (Custom House Agents) for document accuracy and dispatch.Ensure timely filing of Bill of Entry and other import-related documents.Track shipments and ensure timely delivery at port and warehouse.Customs & Compliance:Ensure compliance with Indian customs regulations and DGFT policies.Coordinate with CHA for customs clearance and duty payment.Maintain HS codes, calculate import duties, and ensure accurate product classification.Cost & Payment Coordination:Coordinate with accounts and finance team for payment of duties, freight charges, and vendor invoices.Monitor landed cost and provide costing to procurement/commercial teams.Internal Coordination:Work with purchase, warehouse, and production teams to schedule inward logistics and material planning.Update stakeholders regularly on shipment status and any delays/issues.MIS & Reporting:Maintain import register and records.Generate regular reports on import status, pending shipments, cost analysis, etc.Key Skills Required:Knowledge of import procedures, INCO terms, and foreign trade policy (FTP)Familiarity with EDI (ICEGATE), DGFT portal, and customs clearance processStrong communication and coordination skillsAttention to detail and problem-solving abilityProficiency in MS Excel, Tally Prime
