About the Role We are seeking a proactive and target-driven Sales Executive to manage customer relationships, generate business opportunities, and drive sales growth for industrial and automation products. The role requires strong communication skills, customer handling ability, and a result-oriented approach to achieve business targets. Role Objective To increase company revenue by generating new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring timely closure of sales deals while delivering excellent customer service. Core Responsibilities • Identify and develop new customers for automation and industrial products • Handle customer inquiries, quotations, and follow-ups professionally • Prepare and share accurate quotations as per customer requirements • Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and logistics teams for smooth order execution • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with customers • Maintain regular follow-up with customers for order closures and repeat business • Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets • Maintain sales records, customer databases, and reporting documents • Resolve customer concerns related to pricing, delivery, or product requirements Key Objectives (KRA) • Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue growth • Increase customer base and business opportunities • Improve customer satisfaction and retention • Ensure timely quotation submission and order closures • Maintain strong coordination with internal teams KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) • Monthly sales target achievement (%) • Number of new customers acquired • Conversion ratio of quotations to orders • Customer retention rate • Response and follow-up turnaround time • Revenue generation and profit margin contribution Must-Have Skills • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Customer relationship management ability • Basic knowledge of sales processes and industrial products • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic CRM/ERP systems • Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets Good to Have • Experience in automation/industrial product sales • Existing customer network in relevant industry • Knowledge of tender handling and B2B sales • Strong presentation and convincing skills • Analytical and problem-solving ability What We Don’t Want • Poor customer follow-up and lack of ownership • Delay in responding to customers or internal teams • Inability to achieve sales targets consistently • Lack of professionalism in communication • Reactive attitude instead of proactive business development Compensation Structure • Fixed Salary: As per industry standards (based on experience) • Performance Incentives: Based on sales targets and revenue achievement • Annual Bonus: Linked to overall company and individual performance • Other Benefits: PF, ESIC (if applicable), and growth opportunities
