Job Purpose:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and managing key client relationships in the water and wastewater treatment sector. The role requires strong technical knowledge of engineering solutions in water treatment and proven ability
to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth in water treatment projects and equipment.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, and municipal segments.
· Generate leads through networking, market research, and industry contacts.
· Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations.
· Manage client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Collaborate with the engineering and project teams for solution design and execution.
· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
· Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Environmental preferred).
· MBA in Sales/Marketing (preferred but not mandatory).
· 5–8 years of experience in sales/business development in water treatment, wastewater, or related engineering industries.
· Strong technical understanding of water treatment processes (RO, UF, STP, ETP, ZLD, etc.).
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
