JOB DESCRIPTION - STORE MANAGER

Experience required - 5 - 8 years

Qualification - Undergraduate/Graduate/Diploma/Postgraduate

Industry - Apparel/Retail

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Own overall store performance including sales, profitability, customer experience and operational excellence

· Drive achievement of targets while ensuring sustainable business growth

· Full responsibility for store P&L, including revenue delivery, cost control, and margin improvement

· People management for store-team including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management.

· Develop and maintain high-performing store teams through continuous coaching and capability building

· Oversee daily store operations including customer service standards, visual presentation and service delivery

· Ensure effective inventory management, stock control to minimise shrinkage and maximise availability

· Coordinate effectively with Head Office and cross-functional teams to align store execution with business strategy

· Analyse store-level reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to identify trends and drive corrective actions if any

· Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure resolution in line with brand standards

· Drive cost optimisation initiatives while maintaining high service and operational standards

Desired Skills:

· Strong business leadership skills with full ownership of customer-relationship in catchment areas, store profitability and overall performance

· Excellent people leadership skills with experience in building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams

· Strong understanding of retail operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store standards

· Customer-centric mindset with the ability to resolve escalations and ensure superior customer experience

· Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights

· Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for coordination with Head Office and cross-functional teams

· Ability to plan, prioritise and execute multiple operational and commercial activities in a fast-paced environment

· Proficiency in MS Office and retail reporting systems for performance tracking and analysis

· 5–8 years of retail experience; prior experience as Store Manager/ Asst. Manager / Sr. Fashion Consultant is preferred
