Store Incharge

Job Responsibilities – Store Incharge

• Manage day-to-day store operations, including receipt, storage, and issue of materials.

• Maintain proper stock levels of raw materials, consumables, packing materials, and finished goods.

• Ensure accurate inward and outward entry of materials in the inventory system/register.

• Monitor stock movement and conduct regular physical stock verification.

• Maintain proper documentation of GRN (Goods Receipt Note), challans, invoices, and delivery records.

• Coordinate with the Purchase, Production, and Accounts departments for smooth material flow.

• Ensure materials are stored safely and systematically to avoid damage, loss, or wastage.

• Track reorder levels and inform management about low stock or urgent requirements.

• Handle dispatch planning and ensure timely delivery of materials/products.

• Supervise loading/unloading activities and monitor housekeeping in the store area.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and audit requirements.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management review.

• Manage store staff, helpers, and workers to ensure efficient operations.

• Identify and minimize inventory discrepancies, shortages, or excess stock.

• Support internal and external audits by providing required records and documents.
