Retail Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

•       Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming, personalised in-store experience.

•       Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable garments based on occasion, style, size, and budget.

•       Actively drive store sales by upselling, cross-selling, and promoting new arrivals and ongoing offers.

•       Display garments and accessories in an attractive, organised, and brand-appropriate manner.

•       Assist in maintaining neat visual merchandising — folding, hanging, tagging, and arranging stock on shelves and racks.

•       Handle billing and cash/digital transactions accurately at the point of sale.

•       Manage stock replenishment on the shop floor and inform management when inventory runs low.

•       Support receiving, counting, and organising new stock deliveries.

•       Keep the shop floor clean, tidy, and well-presented throughout the day.

•       Handle customer queries and mild complaints professionally; escalate issues when required.

•       Build rapport with repeat customers and support customer retention through good service.

•       Assist in preparing the store for seasonal sales, festive promotions, and new collection launches.

What We Are Looking For

•       Prior experience in a retail garment or fashion store is preferred.

•       Genuine interest in women's fashion, fabrics, and latest trends.

•       Pleasant personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

•       Ability to understand and speak Gujarati and Hindi fluently.

•       Honest, punctual, and dependable with a responsible approach to work.

•       Comfortable standing and working on the shop floor for extended hours.

•       Basic numeracy skills for billing and cash handling.

•       Willingness to learn about new products and adapt to store processes quickly.

•       A positive, team-oriented attitude with a customer-first mindset.

Good to Have

•       Prior experience specifically in ladies' ethnic or western wear retail.

•       Familiarity with POS / billing software or willingness to learn.

•       Knowledge of local fashion preferences and buying trends in Ahmedabad.

•       Basic knowledge of fabric types (cotton, georgette, silk, rayon, etc.).
