Key Responsibilities
Receive incoming materials and verify them against purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
Inspect received materials for quantity and report any shortages or damages to the Purchase and Quality departments.
Arrange and store materials systematically with proper identification and labeling.
Issue raw materials, consumables, tools, and spare parts to production departments as per approved requisitions.
Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/Tally/Excel and ensure timely entry of all transactions.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and inform the Purchase department for timely replenishment.
Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Slips (MIS), Stock Transfer Notes, and other store-related documents.
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, and Dispatch departments for smooth material movement.
Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage, deterioration, or loss of materials.
Maintain housekeeping and implement 5S standards in the store area.
Assist during internal and external audits by providing stock records and supporting documents.
Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory and submit reports to management.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies while handling and storing materials.
Support physical inventory counting and annual stock audits.
Required Qualifications
Graduate or Diploma in any discipline.
2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing company's store department.
Knowledge of inventory management, store documentation, and material handling.
Basic knowledge of ERP/Tally, MS Excel, and inventory software.
Good communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
