Quality Control Inspector – Integration

Position Summary

The Quality Control Inspector – Integration is responsible for ensuring all electrical panel board assemblies meet quality standards and specifications during the integration and assembly process at Aimant Industries. This role involves thorough inspection, testing, and documentation of electrical panel board products to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and verifying all electrical components such as circuit breakers, bus bars, wiring, and enclosures before they are used in the integration process. The inspector will monitor assembly processes to ensure proper wiring, connections, and component placement. A comprehensive final inspection will be conducted on completed electrical panel boards including continuity, insulation, and functionality tests. The inspector will also conduct electrical tests such as megger testing, ground continuity, and voltage rating tests using specialized equipment.

Maintaining detailed inspection records, test results, and quality reports is an essential part of this role. The inspector must identify, isolate, and report non-conforming products and initiate corrective actions. All electrical panel board products must comply with IEC and ANSI standards, company specifications, and customer requirements. The inspector is also responsible for maintaining and calibrating testing equipment to ensure accuracy. Collaboration with production, engineering, and design teams to resolve quality issues is required. Participation in quality improvement initiatives and root cause analysis is expected.

Required Qualifications

The candidate should have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Industrial Technology. Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience in Quality Control within electrical manufacturing can apply. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of electrical panel board or switchgear manufacturing. The candidate should have basic knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing procedures. or relevant electrical panel board standards is preferred. Basic MS Office proficiency is necessary.

Required Skills and Competencies

The candidate must have strong attention to detail to identify defects and inconsistencies. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for root cause analysis. Clear reporting and documentation skills are required. The candidate should be willing to learn and work with electrical testing equipment. The candidate must be able to work effectively with production and engineering teams. Time management skills are important for handling multiple inspection tasks efficiently.

Working Conditions

The Quality Control Inspector will work on the manufacturing floor, which may involve standing for extended periods. The inspector must follow safety protocols and may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes. The work schedule is day shift, but flexibility for overtime may be required. The inspector will report to the QC Manager or Quality Assurance Supervisor.

Training Period

The selected candidate will undergo a training period of 180 days. During the training period, the candidate's performance will be evaluated continuously. Based on the candidate's performance during the training, the salary will be assigned as per the company policy. If the training period needs to be extended based on the candidate's performance, the training will be extended accordingly after the initial 180 days period. Upon successful completion of the training and meeting the required performance standards, the candidate will be confirmed as a regular employee with the designated salary range of ₹1,44,000 to ₹2,40,000 per annum.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is ₹1,44,000 to ₹2,40,000. Benefits such as Provident Fund and Employee State Insurance will be provided only after successful completion of the training period and confirmation as a regular employee. Health Insurance is available as per company policy. Standard working hours are from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM. Leave policy is as per Aimant Industries HR policy.
