We Are Hiring A Plant Head (Food Processing Factory)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations at our food processing facility in Bhiwandi. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end production schedules, optimize workflow efficiency, maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards, and manage large plant teams to ensure on-time delivery and high product quality.

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month

Experience Required: 05-10 Years in Production Management (Food Processing Sector) or Any Production.

Education: Any Graduate

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations & Production Planning:

1. Plan, organize, and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to ensure operational targets are met.

2. Determine necessary operational resources, including workforce planning, raw material requirements, and machinery allocation.

3. Oversee and streamline floor workflows to ensure specifications and deadlines are consistently achieved.

4. Adjust and renegotiate production timescales or schedules dynamically to handle operational bottlenecks or urgent orders.

2. Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance:

1. Oversee strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, standards, and health & safety regulations across all shop floor activities.

2. Enforce quality control protocols at every processing stage to ensure final output meets required benchmarks.

3. Ensure all equipment and facility practices comply with food manufacturing hygiene policies.

3. Supply Chain, Materials & Logistics:

1. Select, order, and monitor raw material stock levels to prevent supply disruptions.

2. Liaise with clients regarding order status, dispatch timelines, and delivery schedules.

3. Coordinate transport and logistics, proactively resolving shipping or dispatch delays.

4. Team Leadership & Resource Management:

1. Supervise, evaluate, and guide production line staff, quality inspectors, and plant workers.

2. Foster high team collaboration and manage large plant workforces effectively.

3. Identify skill gaps and organize relevant technical, safety, and operational training sessions.

4. Collaborate with interdepartmental heads to align plant goals with broader organizational objectives.

Qualifications & Key Competencies:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Degrees in Food Technology, B.Sc., or Engineering preferred).

2. Experience: 07 to 10 years of hands-on experience in production management within the Food Processing or FMCG industry.

3. Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of food processing flows, manufacturing equipment, and safety regulations.

4. Leadership & Communication: Strong capability to lead and motivate large shop-floor teams with clear written and verbal communication.

5. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Results-driven mindset with strong analytical skills to resolve production or transport issues under pressure.

6. Detail Orientation: Strong attention to detail, resource precision, and time management.
