Diagnose and troubleshoot PCB failures using test equipment and inspection tools.
Replace defective electronic components such as ICs, BGAs, QFNs, connectors, resistors, capacitors, and other SMT devices.
Operate rework stations, hot-air systems, BGA rework machines, soldering/desoldering equipment, and microscopes.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for assembly defects and recommend corrective actions.
Review defect trends and work with Production, Quality, and Process Engineering teams to reduce rework.
Ensure repairs comply with IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721, and customer specifications.
Maintain repair records, failure reports, and rework documentation.
Support NPI (New Product Introduction) activities and process validation.
Train technicians and operators on repair and rework techniques.
Monitor and improve repair yield, first-pass yield (FPY), and quality metrics.
Ensure ESD, safety, and quality standards are followed at all times.
