Operate CNC Turning and/or CNC Milling machines as per production requirements.
Load and unload raw materials and finished components safely.
Read and understand engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
Set tool offsets and make minor machine adjustments as per approved procedures.
Measure finished parts using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and gauges.
Ensure components meet quality specifications and report any deviations immediately.
Perform first-piece inspection before starting batch production.
Monitor machine performance and identify abnormal machine conditions.
Replace cutting tools when required and inform the supervisor of tool wear.
Maintain production records, inspection reports, and machine logbooks.
Follow production schedules to achieve daily output targets.
Minimize material wastage and optimize machine utilization.
Maintain 5S standards and keep the work area clean and organized.
Follow all safety procedures and use the required PPE.
Report machine breakdowns, quality issues, or safety hazards immediately.
Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, and Production departments for smooth operations.
Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and quality.
Required Skills:
