Boiler Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Boiler Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain boiler systems safely and efficiently. The candidate should have knowledge of boiler operations, pressure and temperature monitoring, preventive maintenance, and boiler safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor boilers to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.

• Maintain boiler pressure, temperature, water level, and steam output as per operational requirements.

• Monitor feed water systems, fuel supply, and other boiler auxiliaries.

• Perform routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.

• Identify and report operational faults, leaks, and abnormal conditions.

• Maintain boiler operation logs, checklists, and maintenance records.

• Follow all safety procedures and statutory requirements related to boiler operation.

• Coordinate with the maintenance team during breakdowns and repairs.

• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions in the boiler area.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification preferred.

• Valid Boiler Operator Certificate / Competency Certificate, as applicable under local regulations.

• Practical knowledge of boiler operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.

• Basic troubleshooting skills and understanding of boiler instruments.

• Ability to work in shifts, if required.

Experience: 1–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
