Role Overview
We are looking for energetic and goal-oriented Business Development Executives to join our expanding sales team. The role involves field sales and merchant acquisition, where you’ll drive PhonePe’s presence by onboarding merchants and selling smart devices such as SmartSpeakers and Scanners.
This is a 100% field-based role that requires excellent communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct field visits and acquire new merchant partners for PhonePe.
Sell PhonePe SmartSpeakers and Scanners to merchants across assigned areas.
Explain product features, benefits, and usage to customers.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
Achieve assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Build and nurture strong relationships with existing merchants to ensure continued engagement.
Provide regular feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights.
Requirements
Education: Minimum qualification – 12th Pass / ITI / Diploma.
Experience: Minimum 3–6 months of experience in sales (FMCG, telecom, fintech, or similar industries preferred).
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle fieldwork and meet daily targets.
Good convincing and negotiation abilities.
Other Requirements:
Bike and valid driving license are mandatory.
Comfortable with field travel and outdoor work.
