Academic Counsellor

Key responsibilities:

A. Student counselling and guidance:

1. Reach out to prospective students and understand their concerns, aspirations, and career challenges via calls and messages.

2. Suggest suitable Pregrad courses that align with their goals, offering solutions that guide them forward.

3. Maintain a detailed record of student interactions in the internal database.

B. Enrollment process support:

1. Assist students through the enrollment process, from choosing the right course to making fee payments and completing registration.

2. Follow up with leads and provide reassurance to students who may be uncertain about joining.

3. Clearly communicate course fee structures and payment schedules to ensure transparency.

C. Performance tracking:

1. Track and maintain accurate records of student interactions and the outcomes of your counselling efforts.

2. Provide regular reports on enrollments and assess how well your counseling efforts are working.

D. Pipeline management:

1. Manage a consistent sales pipeline by tracking self-generated leads, referrals, follow-ups, and assigned prospects.

2. Ensure you meet weekly conversion goals while supporting students in making informed decisions.

E. Conversion and student commitment:

1. Work with prospective students to close enrollments in a way that benefits both them and Pregrad.

2. Help students feel confident in their decisions by addressing concerns and offering guidance throughout the process.

F. Student coordination:

1. Document all communications with students through professional emails and messages.

2. Act as the key liaison between the student and the operations team, ensuring smooth communication from enrollment to completion of the course.
