Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Meal Preparation: Cook, season, and prepare high-volume food items according to menus and quality standards.
Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen, storage, and food preparation area.
Inventory Management: Manage food supplies, inventory levels, and proper storage of ingredients to avoid wastage.
Dietary Adherence: Adapt recipes to meet special dietary requirements or health restrictions of students.
Equipment Maintenance: Properly use and maintain all kitchen equipment.
Staff Coordination: Work with, and often supervise, kitchen hands or assistants to ensure efficient service.
