Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Continental Cook to prepare and present high-quality continental dishes while maintaining hygiene, safety, and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of continental cuisine, kitchen operations, and food presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook continental dishes as per standard recipes

• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards

• Assist in menu planning and daily specials

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Monitor stock levels and report kitchen requirements

• Coordinate with kitchen staff and service team for smooth operations

• Reduce food wastage and follow portion control guidelines

• Ensure proper storage of food items

Skills Requirement

• Proven experience as a Continental Cook or similar role

• Knowledge of continental cuisine (Italian, French, Mediterranean, etc.)

• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen SOPs

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Good time-management and teamwork skills

• Culinary certification or hotel management background preferred
