Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage day-to-day procurement activities, vendor coordination, and purchase order processing. The candidate should have basic knowledge of procurement procedures and hands-on experience in creating and handling Purchase Orders (POs).

Key Responsibilities

• Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per requirement

• Handle vendor communication for quotations, follow-ups, and delivery schedules

• Compare quotations and prepare basic cost analysis

• Maintain purchase records, documentation, and MIS reports

• Coordinate with stores/warehouse for GRN (Goods Receipt Note)

• Track order status and ensure timely delivery of materials

• Support in vendor development and vendor database management

• Ensure procurement as per company policies and budget

• Assist in resolving supply, quality, or invoice-related issues

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of procurement / purchasing processes

• Experience in PO creation & processing

• Knowledge of vendor management

• Familiar with RFQ, quotations, and comparison statements

• Working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, basic formulas preferred)

• Good communication and follow-up skills

• Organized and good at documentation
