Job Summary

Plannet Advertising Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant who can independently manage the company's complete accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, compliance, reconciliations, reporting, and financial documentation, and be able to handle accounts with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payments, receipts, and expense accounting.

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.

• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Handle GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and other stakeholders.

• Manage payroll-related accounting and statutory deductions.

• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and ensure timely follow-ups.

• Assist with budgeting, cash-flow management, and financial planning.

• Ensure timely closing of books and support year-end finalisation.

• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with accounting policies.

• Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them independently.

• Provide management with accurate financial information and reports when required.

• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel

• ERP/accounting software experience will be an advantage

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CA Inter / M.Com / relevant professional qualification will be an advantage.

• Must be capable of independently handling the overall accounting function.

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Mature, responsible, and highly organised.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

• Experience in an advertising, media, creative, or service-based company will be preferred.
