Senior Accounts Executive – Australian Accounting

📍 Sindhubhavan Road, Ahmedabad
🕢 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
International accounting experience is preferred.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to support the Team Leader in managing client deliverables, reviewing team work, and handling complex accounting tasks. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to guide and support team members effectively.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Team Support & Coordination

• Provide direct support to the Team Leader in day-to-day operations.

• Assist in resolving team queries and operational challenges.

• Support team coordination by allocating emails and monitoring task flow.

• Assist in preparing monthly reports and ensuring smooth team functioning.

• Train and guide Assistant Accountants on processes and technical tasks.

🔹 Review & Quality Control

• Review payroll processing and ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Conduct first-level review of monthly financial statements.

• Prepare draft management packs for Team Leader review.

• Ensure all reviewed work meets quality and deadline expectations.

🔹 Complex Accounting Tasks

• Manage complex payroll processing and refund calculations.

• Finalize STP, statutory reconciliations, OSR, ATO, Superannuation, and FBT tasks.

• Handle liaison and coordination for audits.

• Process and calculate commissions accurately.

• Prepare and load ABA files.

• Perform statutory balance sheet reconciliations.

• Set up and manage insurance funding processes.

🔹 Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare ABS returns and ad-hoc reports.

• Assist with preparation of complex cashflows and financial analysis.

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting for internal and client requirements.
