Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to provide support to the senior accounting team in managing daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will act as a helping hand to senior accountants by assisting with bookkeeping, reconciliations, documentation, data entry, and other accounting-related tasks while gaining practical experience in finance and accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior accountants with day-to-day accounting activities.

• Enter and maintain financial data accurately in accounting software.

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Prepare and organize financial documents, invoices, receipts, and vouchers.

• Assist with bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance.

• Help in preparing reports, statements, and audit schedules.

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.

• Coordinate with internal departments for financial information and documentation.

• Assist in GST, TDS, and other compliance-related activities.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

• Good organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and support team members.
