Job Summary
The Collection Executive is responsible for following up with customers for outstanding payments, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring timely recovery of dues while complying with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Contact customers via phone, email, or messages regarding overdue payments.
Follow up on pending invoices and ensure timely collections.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status.
Resolve customer payment-related queries and disputes.
Negotiate payment plans when required.
Coordinate with the sales and finance teams to reconcile accounts.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports.
Achieve assigned collection targets and recovery goals.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations during the collection process.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
0–3 years of experience in collections, customer service, or accounts receivable (freshers may be considered for junior roles).
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
