Job Title: Accounts Executive

Reports To: Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager / Finance Manager
Job Summary
The Accounts Executive is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, assisting with statutory compliance, and supporting the finance team in ensuring smooth accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system.
Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase bills, debit notes, and credit notes.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Process vendor payments and customer receipts.
Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
Maintain petty cash records and expense reports.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual book closing activities.
Prepare GST working, TDS calculations, and assist in statutory return filings.
Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding outstanding payments and account reconciliations.
Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
Assist during internal, statutory, and tax audits.
Generate MIS reports and financial summaries for management.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and statutory regulations.
Support budgeting and financial planning activities as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Accounting.
M.Com or MBA (Finance) is an added advantage.
2–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
Experience with Tally Prime, Busy, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, or other ERP/accounting software.
Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
