Accountant

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

1. Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording daily transactions, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

2. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper matching of transactions, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

3. Expense Management: Process and track company expenses, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines.

4. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, summarizing financial data for management review.

5. Assist in Audits: Support external auditors during financial audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

6. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and following up on overdue payments.

7. Budgeting Support: Collaborate with senior accountants to assist in budget preparation and monitoring.

8. Compliance: Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to relevant standards.

9. Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform various ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by senior members of the finance team.
