Key Responsibilities Comprehensive GST Compliance & Reporting Administer the end-to-end GST compliance cycle, including registration management and the accurate filing of periodic returns (GSTR-1, 3B, and GSTR-9). Perform rigorous reconciliations of Input Tax Credit (ITC) and ensure all transactions align with current GST laws and statutory timelines. Accounting Operations & Client Ledger Management Execute day-to-end accounting functions for a diverse client base. This includes recording financial transactions, maintaining precise general ledgers, and performing periodic reviews to identify and rectify discrepancies in client accounts. TDS Compliance & Withholding Tax Manage all TDS-related workflows, including accurate tax computation, timely deposit of challans, and the preparation and filing of quarterly TDS returns to ensure zero-default compliance. Finalization of Financial Statements: Drive the closing process to produce auditready financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss accounts. Ensure all reporting is compliant with relevant accounting standards and internal quality benchmarks. Audit Documentation & Liaison Collate and organize all necessary documentation for GST assessments and statutory audits. Liaise with tax authorities and stakeholders to address routine queries and facilitate the smooth resolution of compliance matters. Requirements Bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, finance, or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and GST compliance Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and Taxation laws, rules, and regulations. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Busy, as well as Tax filing software and tools. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines
