Key Responsibilities
As an FMCG Sales Team Leader, you will:
Lead and Supervise the Sales Team
Guide, coach, and motivate sales representatives to reach individual and team targets.
Assign daily/weekly tasks and monitor performance metrics.
Achieve Sales Targets
Drive sales activities to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Develop and implement sales strategies in line with company goals.
Market Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities and distribution channels.
Increase brand penetration and visibility in the market.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail outlets.
Resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and market feedback.
Track competitor activities and provide insights to management.
Training & Development
Train new sales team members on products, sales process, and market strategies.
Conduct periodic review meetings and skills development sessions.
Field Coordination
Conduct field visits to monitor sales execution, merchandising and compliance with company standards.
Ensure correct product display and promotions at POS.
Stock & Inventory Coordination
Coordinate with supply chain/warehouse teams to ensure product availability.
Monitor stock levels and prevent stock-outs or excess inventory.
Promotional Execution
Implement trade promotions and schemes effectively in the market.
Ensure proper documentation and timely execution of promotional plans.
