Job Description – Public Relations Officer (PRO)
Role Summary
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for building strong referral networks, maintaining relationships with doctors and clinics, and promoting hospital services in the community. The role supports patient referrals and brand visibility of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
• Visit referring doctors, clinics, and hospitals to build strong professional relationships.
• Promote hospital services, specialties, and treatment facilities.
• Maintain and expand doctor referral network.
• Track referred patients and update referring doctors when required.
• Support marketing activities, medical camps, and outreach programs.
• Maintain daily visit reports and referral tracking records.
• Coordinate with internal teams for referred patient management.
• Ensure proper communication between hospital and referring doctors.
• Represent the hospital professionally in the medical community.
Key Skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Good communication and persuasion ability
• Understanding of hospital services and healthcare ecosystem
• Ability to travel and conduct field visits
• Reporting and documentation skills
Qualifications
• Graduate preferred
• 1–3 years experience in healthcare marketing, field sales, or hospital PRO role
• Experience working with doctor referral networks preferred
