Event Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Event Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute events from start to finish. The ideal candidate should be well-organized, creative, responsible, and capable of managing clients, vendors, teams, and event operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage events from concept to successful execution.

• Understand client requirements and coordinate accordingly.

• Coordinate with clients, vendors, decorators, production teams, artists, caterers, and other service providers.

• Prepare event timelines, checklists, and execution plans.

• Manage event setup, décor, production, logistics, and on-site operations.

• Supervise the event team and allocate responsibilities effectively.

• Ensure all event elements are delivered and executed as per the approved plan.

• Conduct venue visits and coordinate with venue management when required.

• Manage vendor coordination, negotiations, and timely deliveries.

• Handle on-site issues and resolve problems quickly during events.

• Ensure quality standards and maintain attention to detail throughout the event.

• Coordinate with the client during the event and ensure excellent customer experience.

• Monitor event budgets and ensure expenses remain within the approved budget.

• Prepare post-event reports and maintain proper event documentation.

• Manage multiple events and deadlines efficiently.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Event Management / Event Operations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent coordination and team-management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage last-minute changes.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Good knowledge of event production, décor, logistics, and vendor management.

• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and event days.

• MBA/PGDM in Event Management or a related field will be an advantage.
