Job Summary

 We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver/Delivery Executive to manage the

efficient and timely transportation and delivery of our perishable food products (specialty batter) across the General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Thane. A primary and critical responsibility of this role is maintaining the quality of the product during transit and ensuring efficient route planning.

Key Responsibilities

1.  Delivery and Logistics

·   Execute timely delivery of fresh specialty batter to various retail outlets, supermarkets (Modern Trade), and local stores (General Trade) as per the daily route plan.
·   Ensure the integrity and temperature control of the fresh food products are maintained during loading, transit, and unloading to prevent spoilage.

·   Accurately verify delivery items against invoices and obtain necessary proof of delivery (POD) documentation from retailers.

·   Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle, ensuring packages are handled with care.

2.  Collections and Returns Management

·   Manage the collection of product returns (e.g., nearing expiry, damaged stock) from stores and accurately document the quantity and reason for return.

·   Ensure collected returned goods are transported back to the warehouse under appropriate conditions.

3.  Reporting and Sales Coordination

·   Report daily delivery status and any on-ground market/retailer feedback to the Sales Officer to aid in sales planning and customer relationship management.

·   Coordinate with the Sales Officer regarding urgent delivery requests or issues encountered at retailer locations.

4.  Vehicle Operation and Maintenance

·   Safely operate and maintain the assigned delivery vehicle(s) (3-wheeler/4-wheeler).

·   Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any mechanical issues immediately.

·   Ensure all necessary vehicle documentation (licenses, insurance, pollution certificates) is current.
