Driver

• Operate LCV & HCV vehicles such as compactors, tippers, dumpers, loaders, and other waste collection/transport vehicles.

• Ensure safe driving practices and compliance with traffic laws, RTO regulations, and company safety policies.

• Carry out daily vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, brakes, lights, tires, and hydraulic attachments) before starting operations.

• Transport waste materials from collection points to designated disposal/recycling/processing sites.

• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of waste as per operational schedules.

• Report any vehicle malfunctions, breakdowns, or required repairs to the fleet supervisor.

• Maintain vehicle logbooks, trip sheets, and fuel consumption records.

• Assist in basic upkeep such as cleaning, refueling, and lubricating vehicle parts.

• Cooperate with loaders, helpers, and supervisors during waste collection operations.

• Follow safety and hygiene standards during waste handling and transportation.

• Support in emergency breakdowns and on-road troubleshooting (with mechanics/electricians if required

• Excellent driving skills for both LCV & HCV vehicles.

• Strong knowledge of traffic rules, road safety, and RTO norms.

• Ability to operate vehicles fitted with hydraulic equipment and compactors.

• Experience in long-route and city driving under different conditions.

• Defensive driving and accident prevention skills.

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Good communication and teamwork with operational staff.

• Discipline, punctuality, and physical fitness.
