Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. The intern will assist in improving website visibility, search rankings, organic traffic, and overall SEO performance across client and internal projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist with on-page and off-page SEO activities.
Conduct keyword research and identify relevant search opportunities.
Assist in SEO audits and identify technical and content-related issues.
Support website optimization, including meta titles, descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal linking.
Assist with off-page SEO and link-building activities.
Research and identify relevant websites for backlink opportunities.
Assist with local SEO activities, including Google Business Profile optimization.
Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, backlinks, and other SEO metrics.
Prepare regular SEO reports using tools such as Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and SEO best practices.
Coordinate with the content and development teams to implement SEO recommendations.
Maintain SEO activity sheets, reports, and documentation.

Skills Required

Basic understanding of SEO concepts and search engines
Understanding of keyword research and on-page SEO
Basic knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics
Good research and analytical skills
Basic understanding of HTML is an advantage
Good written communication skills
Willingness to learn and work on multiple projects
Basic knowledge of tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or similar tools is an advantage
