Job Summary
SecureSearch is seeking detail-oriented and reliable professionals to join our Background
Verification team. The role involves conducting Address Verification and Employment
Verification as part of our client background screening process. The ideal candidate
should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle
verification assignments efficiently while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
A. Address Verification (AV)
• Conduct telephonic and/or field address verification as per company and client
requirements
• Verify candidate residential details through calls, field visits (if applicable), and
database checks
• Coordinate with vendors / field executives for address verification completion
• Update verification findings accurately in the system and maintain proper
documentation
• Identify discrepancies and escalate cases as per escalation matrix
• Ensure timely closure of address verification cases within defined TAT
B. Employment Verification (EV)
• Verify candidate employment details such as designation, tenure, reporting
manager, and reason for leaving
• Conduct telephonic, email, and database verification with HR departments and
authorized representatives
• Draft and send employment verification emails to employers and follow up for
responses
• Review documents such as offer letters, salary slips, experience letters, etc.
• Identify and report discrepancies, dual employment, or fraudulent information
• Maintain detailed and accurate case notes in the system
Common Responsibilities (Applicable to Both Roles)
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and quality targets
• Ensure strict adherence to company SOPs, compliance, and confidentiality
guidelines
• Maintain professional communication with candidates, clients, and employers
• Ensure accurate data entry and proper case documentation
• Coordinate internally with team leaders and operations team for case closures
• Support audit requirements and quality checks
