Telecaller

Position Summary:

The Telecaller is responsible for contacting prospective patients, clients, or referral sources via phone calls to promote hospital services, generate leads, schedule appointments, and provide information in a professional and courteous manner. The role requires strong communication skills, patience, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Follow-Up

• Make outbound calls to prospective patients, corporates, or referral sources.

• Follow up on inbound inquiries from calls, emails, or website inquiries.

• Maintain a database of leads, prospects, and client interactions.

2. Appointment Scheduling

• Schedule patient appointments for consultations, procedures, or hospital events.

• Coordinate with OPD, IPD, or specialty departments to confirm schedules.

• Ensure accurate and timely communication of appointment details.

3. Customer Relationship & Communication

• Provide clear information about hospital services, packages, and offers.

• Handle basic queries and escalate complex issues to relevant departments.

• Maintain a professional and empathetic approach to callers.

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain call logs and lead tracking sheets in CRM or Excel.

• Prepare daily/weekly reports on calls made, leads generated, and appointments scheduled.

• Provide feedback to marketing or department heads regarding call outcomes.

5. Coordination & Team Support

• Work closely with marketing, sales, and patient coordination teams.

• Participate in promotional campaigns and tele-calling drives.

• Support departmental initiatives for improving patient acquisition and satisfaction.
