Position: Counter Sales Executive
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
Resolve customer queries and complaints politely and efficiently.
Sales & Revenue Generation
Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
Promote new products, offers, and seasonal items.
Upsell and cross-sell products to increase average billing value.
Order Taking & Billing
Accurately take customer orders.
Generate bills through POS/ERP systems.
Handle cash, UPI, card, and other payment transactions.
Product Knowledge
Maintain complete knowledge of all products, ingredients, pricing, and promotions.
Explain product features, flavors, and customization options to customers.
Display & Merchandising
Ensure products are displayed attractively and as per company standards.
Monitor stock availability at the counter and refill displays when required.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the sales area.
Inventory & Stock Control
Assist in stock counting and inventory management.
Report low-stock, damaged, or expired products to the Store Manager.
Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
Order Coordination
Coordinate with the production and dispatch teams for customer orders.
Ensure timely delivery and collection of advance orders.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain sales records and daily reports.
Update customer information and order details accurately.
Report daily sales performance to the reporting manager.
Compliance & SOP Adherence
Follow all company policies, SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.
Maintain proper grooming and professional behavior.
Ensure confidentiality of company and customer information.
Team Coordination
Work closely with store staff, production teams, and management.
Support store operations during peak business hours.
Attend training sessions and implement learned practices.
