Customer Sales Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and customer-focused Retail Sales Executive to join our store team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, welcoming customers, understanding their needs, recommending products, and delivering a seamless shopping experience while driving sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance: Greet shoppers warmly, assist them in finding products, and offer personalized recommendations to upsell and cross-sell.

• Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly store sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of products, promotions, pricing, and current inventory to answer customer queries accurately.

• Merchandising & Store Upkeep: Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensure clean and organized product displays, and assist in restructuring inventory.

• POS & Checkout Operations: Handle cash and digital payment transactions accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, managing returns or exchanges smoothly.

• Inventory Management: Assist with stock receiving, inventory audits, price tagging, and restocking shelves from the stockroom.

• Customer Relationship Management: Address customer feedback or complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to the Store Manager when necessary.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Higher Secondary / Graduate degree preferred.

• Experience: 0–6 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, or hospitality. Freshers with strong interpersonal skills are welcome to apply.

• Key Skills:

  • Strong communication and active listening skills.

  • Basic numerical skills for cash handling and POS operation.

  • Friendly, persuasive, and approach-driven personality.

  • Ability to perform under pressure during peak shopping hours/seasons.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, walk around the store floor, and lift light-to-medium stock boxes.
