Job Description

A Collection Team Leader's primary responsibility is to lead and manage a team of collection specialists or agents, focusing on optimizing collection processes and maximizing cash flow. This involves setting and monitoring team goals, providing guidance and training, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:

    Oversee and mentor the collection team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. 

  • Process Management:

    Develop and implement effective collection strategies, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. 

  • Performance Management:

    Track and coach team members' performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide feedback. 

  • Communication:

    Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers. 

  • Reporting and Analysis:

    Assist management with reporting needs and analyze team performance metrics. 

  • Problem Solving:

    Address and resolve collection-related issues and escalate to management as needed. 

  • Goal Setting and Achievement:

    Set team objectives and ensure they are met, contributing to the overall company goals. 

  • Conflict Resolution:

    Address and resolve conflicts within the team and with clients. 

  • Customer Service:

    Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure a positive customer experience.
