Key Responsibilities:
Handle airline ticket cancellations, refunds, date changes, and flight rescheduling requests.
Process voluntary and involuntary refunds according to airline fare rules and policies.
Assist customers with flight changes, rebooking, and alternate flight options.
Handle airline schedule changes, cancellations, delays, and involuntary re-accommodation.
Check fare differences, change fees, cancellation penalties, and applicable taxes.
Coordinate with airlines/GDS platforms regarding refund and booking-related issues.
Maintain accurate booking records, refund documentation, and transaction details.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding refund timelines, penalties, fare conditions, and available alternatives.
Follow airline, GDS, travel-agency, and company policies while processing transactions.
Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex cases to airlines or supervisors when required.
Ensure timely follow-up on pending refunds and schedule-change cases.
Meet accuracy, productivity, turnaround-time, and customer-service targets.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of airline reservations and ticketing procedures.
Understanding of fare rules, refund rules, cancellation policies, and rebooking procedures.
Experience with GDS/reservation systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo is preferred.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Basic knowledge of airline codes, ticketing terminology, and travel documentation.
