South Indian Cook

We are seeking an experienced South Indian Chef to prepare authentic South Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian specialties. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of traditional cooking techniques from regions such as Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka.

• Prepare authentic South Indian dishes including:

  • Breakfast items (e.g., Idli, Dosa, Vada, Pongal, Upma)

  • Main courses (e.g., Sambar, Rasam, Chettinad Curry, Kerala Sadya)

  • Rice dishes (e.g., Lemon Rice, Tamarind Rice, Biryani)

  • Accompaniments (e.g., Coconut Chutney, Gunpowder, Pickles)

• Design and maintain a South Indian–focused menu in consultation with the management.

• Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishes.

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene as per FSSAI standards.

• Proven experience (2+ years) as a South Indian Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or catering setup.

• Expertise in regional South Indian cuisines: Tamil, Telugu, Kerala, or Karnataka styles.

• Strong understanding of traditional spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.

• Knowledge of vegetarian and non-vegetarian South Indian cooking.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
