Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Indian Cook (Commi 1) to prepare authentic Indian dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation. The role requires a strong knowledge of regional Indian cuisines, spices, and cooking techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoor items, biryanis, and snacks.

• Maintain consistency in flavor, quality, and presentation according to restaurant standards.

• Follow recipes, portion controls, and kitchen procedures.

• Assist in menu development and introduce creative variations in Indian cuisine.

• Operate kitchen equipment like tandoor, grills, and gas stoves safely.

• Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients to minimize wastage.

• Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Indian Cook / Commi 1 in a professional kitchen.

• In-depth knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, spices, and regional dishes.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety protocols.

• Culinary diploma or certification preferred but not mandatory.

• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Salary: 20000 INR to 25000 INR or Depending upon experience.
