Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chinese Chef to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience preparing authentic Chinese dishes and the ability to maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a wide variety of Chinese dishes (e.g., noodles, fried rice, momos, soups, gravies, starters, etc.)
Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation consistency.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Manage kitchen inventory and coordinate with the purchase team for ingredients.
Supervise kitchen helpers and train junior staff when required.
Maintain timely food preparation during rush hours.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chinese Chef / Cook in a reputed restaurant or hotel.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques such as stir-fry, deep fry, steaming, and wok cooking.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Punctual, disciplined, and team-oriented attitude.
