Supervisor

The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with electrical codes and project specifications. The role involves supervising electricians, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring timely completion of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians and electrical technicians

• Plan, assign, and review electrical work to ensure efficiency and quality

• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, local codes, and regulations

• Inspect electrical installations, wiring, and equipment for defects or hazards

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues and system failures

• Maintain tools, equipment, and electrical materials inventory

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints

• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other supervisors

• Conduct safety briefings and enforce safe work practices

• Prepare daily reports on work progress, manpower, and materials

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Senior Electrician

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety regulations

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications

• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance practices
