Reports To: MIS Manager / Operations Head / Senior Manager

Job Summary:

The MIS Executive is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and managing data to support business operations and decision-making. This role involves maintaining databases, preparing regular management reports, ensuring data accuracy, and improving reporting systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various departments to prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.

Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.

Generate business performance reports (sales, operations, finance, etc.) as required by management.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of reports.

Develop and automate reporting templates and dashboards for easier tracking and analysis.

Collaborate with departments to understand reporting needs and optimize data flow.

Identify trends, variances, and performance gaps through data analysis.

Support management in data-driven decision-making and performance reviews.

Ensure data security, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, etc.)

Working knowledge of SQL / Power BI / Tableau (preferred)

Good understanding of data analysis and reporting tools

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication and presentation skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Commerce, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in MIS, data analysis, or reporting
