Role and responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineers and architects to receive specific instructions and specifications

• Create detailed drawings of HVAC systems using CAD software

• Calculate heating and cooling needs for different structures

• Develop initial layouts for review and approval

• Prepare and modify design drawings for HVAC systems, including ductwork and piping layout

• Ensure that all designs adhere to established policies, safety standards, and building codes

• Update and maintain project drawing files, drawing library, and associated records

• Perform field surveys to obtain measurements and other data to create accurate designs

• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure proper installation of HVAC systems
