Key Responsibilities

• Design and prepare layouts for fire fighting systems including sprinklers, hydrants, suppression systems, pump rooms, and fire alarm & detection systems using AutoCAD.

• Perform hydraulic calculations, material take-offs, and BOQ preparation.

• Ensure all designs comply with NFPA, NBC, and IS standards.

• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and as-built drawings.

• Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, and project teams for design reviews and approvals.

• Provide design and technical support during site execution.

Requirements

• Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Fire & Safety, or related field.

• 3–7 years of experience in fire fighting system design & drafting.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit / BIM is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of NFPA, IS, and NBC codes & standards.

• Knowledge of fire alarm & detection system design (mandatory/added advantage — as per your preference).

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
